Mr. Pat Elzey

Mr. Elzey is the owner of an independent insurance agency built in 1984. The agency insures over 10,000 clients – their homes, autos, rental dwellings, motorcycles, boats, RV’s, life, health, and small businesses.
Mr. Elzey has expertise in dealing with various insurance carriers, IVANS, policy downloads, MS Small Business Server 2003, Acord Form Integration, Agency CMS Software integration with networking, T-1 high speed internet, image scanning (including paperless fax PDF files), IP phone integration with CMS and hard disk storage.
Training was obtained from various sources – starting with an Electronics Engineering Degree from Delgado College, as a former Director of Career Development with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department, as a small business owner, as an agency manager and from attending various workshops in the government and insurance industry.
Mr. Elzey likes to ride motorcycles cross-country and scuba dive in the Caribbean when venturing away from his daily duties.
Mr. Elzey lives on the outskirts of Houston, Texas – in the town of Pasadena.

Mrs. Patricia M. Alexander, CIC, CPIW is a consultant, coach and mentor. Her experience spans standard insurance carriers, retail agencies, surplus lines insurance carriers and managing general agencies (MGA). She has been an agency owner in addition to holding several executive level management positions throughout her career. Mrs. Alexander has managed large, national programs both at the insurance carrier level and at the managing general agency level. While always involved at some level in the operations area, this became her focus in 1998. She has been involved in the definition and organization of several firms from their start-up to full operation. She thrives on the challenges of researching, defining and implementing new systems. She is truly an agency systems and operations specialist with an insurance background. Mrs. Alexander is dedicated to the best use of technology as a means to enhance the service experience for clients and agency staff and to improve agency profitability.
In addition, Mrs. Alexander has acted as an expert witness in Texas Non-Subscription cases, contract dispute cases, errors & omissions (E&O) cases and other areas related to the insurance industry. Her most interesting experience was testifying in an arbitration in London. She speaks at industry events, is on the CIC national faculty and a contributing writer for insurance industry publications.
In addition to being a self-proclaimed “tech/gadget geek,” Mrs. Alexander is an avid reader and loves to travel. She currently resides in Fort Worth, TX with her husband and travel companion, Gene.
